Extreme STEAM Science Kids Camp is located in Dix Hills, New York on 15 beautiful acres, centrally located in Suffolk County. Extreme STEAM Science Kids Camp at Park Shore is a one-of-a-kind educational summer program designed for first through ninth graders, geared to stimulate their curiosity in science. Our science camp is taught by teachers who will engage every child in the appreciation of science and how science will relate to them in the future. The Extreme STEAM Science Camp curriculum centered around STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, THE ARTS and MATHEMATICS) and takes place in our State-of-the-Art STEAM Science Center. This program is student-centered, inquiry based, and hands-on. Students are challenged through innovative and thought provoking laboratory inquiries to develop hypothesis, test and analyze data, and draw pertinent scientific conclusions. These activities are designed to develop a child’s critical thinking, creative design skills, and their confidence in tackling new understandings of their universe. The program at Extreme STEAM Science Kids Camp is universal in scope and sequence, truly integrating the basic sciences with the latest in technology and engineering. Our Curriculum has a core focus in: Robotics, Engineering, Physical, Earth and Life Science, Mathematics, The Arts & Coding. Extreme STEAM Science Camp at Park Shore offers door-to-door transportation to a vast area of Long Island including Dix Hills, Melville, Commack, Huntington, East Northport, Farmingdale, Babylon, Deer Park, Smithtown, Hauppauge, Islip, and many more. Tours are available Monday – Friday 10am-3pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-2pm, February – June.
